Dr Sandy Baillie Strong - Principal Dentist
Sandy Baillie Strong is a highly experienced family dental surgeon committed to his continuing professional development. He prides himself in running an efficient, comprehensive and friendly service for all the family.
He places a strong emphasis on prevention and is committed to providing the most effective personalised solutions for his patients. Sandy encourages patients to participate fully in all aspects of their treatment planning and is more than happy to help with any queries or concerns you may have.
Sandy is committed to his continuing professional development and is a member of the General Dental Practitioners Association (GDPA).
Ruth - Director
Ruth is a director of the practice and is involved in the overall finance of the business
Janet Hinds - RDH Hygienist
Janet has been at the practice since September 2000 and encourages our patients to achieve excellent oral health care through preventative dentistry. Regular visits are essential and play a vital role in the prevention of gum disease and tooth decay. The frequency of visits is tailor-made by each individual patient.
The treatments involve thorough cleaning of the teeth and root surfaces. She can give advice to resolve problems with bad breath and bleeding gums. Janet has worked with a Periodontist (Gum Specialist) and keeps her skills up to date by attending regional and national meetings.
Janet is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene Therapy and registered with The General Dental Council - she attends study groups and courses required to maintain registration.
Lynn - Practice Manager
Lynn is Practice Manager and has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the practice.
She is a qualified Sedation nurse, which enables us to offer this treatment to our nervous patients.
Lynn joined our practice in 1993.
Jill - Dental Nurse
Jill is our Dental Nurse who ensures that patients receive their treatment in a caring and sympathetic environment.
She is an invaluable part of the team dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of personal care and attention.
Jill joined our practice in 2004.
Mandy & Arlene - Receptionists
Our team of receptionists, Mandy and Arlene both joined the practice in 1999 and ensure that all calls and visits are handled cheerfully and efficiently.
Mandy is reception administrator with responsibility for our appointment system and all our secretarial work.
Arlene is our receptionist who does all our bookwork and wages.
They are often the first point of contact and do a great job in welcoming our patients who appreciate seeing a familiar face at reception.
