Dr Sandy Baillie Strong - Principal Dentist
Sandy Baillie Strong is a highly experienced family dental surgeon committed to his continuing professional development. He prides himself in running an efficient, comprehensive and friendly service for all the family.
He places a strong emphasis on prevention and is committed to providing the most effective personalised solutions for his patients. Sandy encourages patients to participate fully in all aspects of their treatment planning and is more than happy to help with any queries or concerns you may have.
Sandy is committed to his continuing professional development and is a member of the General Dental Practitioners Association (GDPA).
Janet Hinds - Hygienist
Janet has been at the practice for 8 years and encourages our patients to achieve excellent oral health care through preventative dentistry. Regular visits are essential and play a vital role in the prevention of gum disease and tooth decay. The frequency of visits is tailor-made by each individual patient.
The treatments involve thorough cleaning of the teeth and root surfaces. She can give advice to resolve problems with bad breath and bleeding gums. Janet has worked with a Periodontist (Gum Specialist) and keeps her skills up to date by attending regional and national meetings.
Janet is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene Therapy and registered with The General Dental Council - she attends study groups and courses required to maintain registration.
Lynn & Jill - Dental Nurses
Our two dental nurses, Lynn and Jill are an invaluable part of the team dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of personal care and attention. They are registered with The General Dental Council and attend study groups and courses required to maintain registration.
Lynne is clinical supervisor, qualified in sedation nursing. Sedation is used to carry out routine dental treatment on anxious patients, as well as minor surgical procedures e.g. removal of wisdom teeth.
Lynn joined our practice in 1993 and Jill in 2004 - the feedback we have received has shown that our patients really appreciate seeing their familiar faces on their visits.
Mandy & Arlene - Receptionists
Our team of receptionists, Mandy and Arlene both joined the practice in 1999 and ensure that all calls and visits are handled cheerfully and efficiently.
They are often the first point of contact and do a great job in welcoming our patients who appreciate seeing a familiar face at reception.

Ruth - Administrator
Ruth ensures that our administration is first class and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice.
